I had found a necklace of amber beads in a second hand shop awhile ago and noticed the beads were of various sizes and shapes. I decided to dismantle it and make some earrings and then I started stitching tiny beads onto a fabric covered button. 3 hours later it was done and is now a hair clip. My hair colour is a similar shade so it is not too obvious in my hair just a nice little glimmer which I'm very pleased with so I thought I would share it with you all Smiley

I have to say that sewing beads on to a covered button is not anything I would have thought of...just how clever are you to make such a cute piece for your beautiful hair!!!

How do you attach the button to the clip thing?

Thank you! I used super glue. Not a particularly elegant solution but it was the only one I could come up with at the time Smiley

I would never have thought to sew beads on a button, but it looks so elegant, lovely job.
