Looking to de-stash cross stitch magazines, particularly Cross Stitch Gold or New Stitches?  Please drop me a line!  I'd love to swap or buy some missing from my library!

Hello, I landed on this website while doing a search for how to do this stitch. You sais it's a kind of chain stitch, then it has to be a very wide one with very short stitches lengthwise. I noticed that many lines are doubled, but not all.
If you could help me find a tutorial, or just a view without any words of someone, (you for instance!) making this stitch, doing a curve and a switch-back, I would be so grateful. I have copied designs but I want to stitch them with the correct stitch.
The beige on white pillow is beautiul. The traditional colors are great too.

Here is a video with an old lady making the stiches... around min.5 is where she actually starts doing the stitches.

It's Hungarian Smiley

Here is a better example:

this is the stitch, however the next stitch is very close to the previous, no big gaps as in this video, but for seeing how the stitches are it's a very good example
