I borrowed an Ali Foster pattern, cut apart a pair of nice Tommy Hilfiger denim trousers and dug into my stash of Echino fabrics to make my first bag. I had a few issues with topstitching and of course, spent some time with my seam ripper. I am pleased with the results, even if some of the stitching is kind of sloppy.

I like it. Did you put an extra pocket into the lid? Looks like it in the first pic. Aren't you afraid whatever you put in it will fall out when you open the lid? It's upside down, then.

the pocket in the lid came off the backside of the pants I used. I probably will use it for business cards in lieu of anything else that would fall out!

It's a very nice purse you used a pretty pattern and lovely fabric, and denim is one of my favourites i purses. I love it!
