came home and found this totally insanely amazing package from AniMei.  Be prepared to be astonished!

First, a Space Invaders tshirt recycled into a fabulous book bag.  So perfect! oh how I love those SI graphics.  this is perfect, I also love bags and the fabric inside is great too.

Next a super sleek and funny hoopla (she says it's her first! you did a great job AniMei, I love the design, your fabric, the little beads, and your stitches are really neat and perfect).  It's Bob-omb!  My hoopla wall is about to go up and this is a wonderful addition.

A little box with a very funny mushroom with human eyes in modge podge.  It's creepy and cute, unique and fabulous.

and finally, totally saving the best for last, perhaps the coolest thing I ever received in any swap, I have an unnatural desire for amigurumi (which I cannot make myself) and this is a complicated one and done so perfectly, and it's Yoshi!!!!!!

seriously, look at the Yoshi! ok calm down me.  I love it, thanks so much AniMei!

The Pikachu purse is so very cute! And those gym badges are awesome!! I would seriously wear one on my blazer lapel :3

Fancybutch I am so glad you like your package! I liked doing the hoopla (I watched A LOT of Star Trek TNG during its creation lol) and I now have visions of joining other Hoopla swaps and having a bunch all lined up on my wall awww yisssssss!

the Yoshi is so well done; I find my amigurumi is always overstuffed, maybe? you can always see the 'innards', so I'm always so impressed by other people's perfection.

That space invaders bag is the bomb. I wish the Husband had one i could steal to make my own.

The pokemon badges are amazing - they look very cool!

I must say AniMei's Yoshi ami is perfect.  The stitches are tight and solid and it's shape is great and the stuffing is packed in really well.  It's a thing of brilliance.

Also, today at work I am gloating about my space invaders bag.

Thank you for the kind words everyone! Yer makin me blush Kiss The Yoshi is what I was working on when the tutorial 404'd halfway through....I pretty much had a heart attack. BUT the magic of Google Cache saved me!

I know what you mean with the see-thru amis.....the secret is to use a hook that is almost too small, it keeps the spaces in between stitches tiny! I used I think just regular worsted weight yarn for Yoshi and a 3.5 mm hook.

I'm so glad you like the bag too, I was stressing over the lining fabric! And I make the straps extra long because there is NOTHING worse than a tote bag in your armpit.

So glad you love it! Grin
The Chocobo embroidery was the large item. Then I decided it was a medium and made the Moogle embroidery to go with it, just to be sure I had the points covered. The bracelet is supposed to be an anklet. I hope it fits.
