Went to Wisconsin to get some cheese!

I know this sign! Did you go to the Mars Cheese castle? (I grew up in Wisconsin, and we remember always driving past the cheese castle when we were going to Illinois. Except back then, it was more of a chalet than a castle.)

We actually went all the way to Rudolph, WI to get cheese.  It is seriously the best place to get cheese and you can watch the machines stirring the curds and whey.  The cheese castle is actually a castle now!

Mr. CT and I just celebrated our 10th anniversary by heading up to the mountains for the weekend.

Alby joined us for a hike in the Smokey Mountains National Park...

and also later when we went to the aquarium in Gatlinburg.

I love the chair in the children's section of your beautiful new library, Alexampersandra!

Hiking in the mountains sounds like a wonderful way to celebrate an anniversary!

Crafting away down here, not much excitement.  Today Goose asked for a never-melting snowball and brought me supplies.  Mariquita kept us company while we watched Chamber of Secrets and I hooked up a friend.

Mariquita and Goose had a play snow ball fight, I think she might have thrown it a bit hard.

Yes bed does have a ivy blanket and polar bear sheets, interesting kid.

I was informed that the snowball's name is Snowcone Herbert or S.Herbert for short.  And this is as close as I could get to a decent close-up since Goose is thrilled with the Summertime Snowball and how malleable it is, refusing to let go.

Hello all -- I was unexpectedly away from Craftster for more than two months, first working 14-15 hour days on a movie, then going out of town for a convention, dealing with some personal issues, and for the past week intermittent internet problems.  Yeesh!

But Franklin and I are still snapping away wherever we go, so I'll have LOTS of pictures to share over the next four weeks.  In fact, I was going to post some teasers but it looks like my connection may be gone again, so I'm just going to see if this will post at all right now.  Keeping my fingers crossed....

Just letting you all know I'm still here! Jax and I had a bit of a crazy weekend (family from out of town visiting) but I got his pictures from his trip pulled together to work on his scrapbook. Can't believe there is less than a month 'till he goes home!
