Trying to figure scrapbooking out.  A bit overwhelmed, but willing to see where it takes me!

I haven't even thought about the scrapbook yet. Eek!

Yesterday I hit the mall with my Mom. Anana came along and got to see the highly amusing indoor ice skating rink in Clearwater, Florida.  Grin (I only brought my little point-and-shoot so please excuse the lackluster quality of the photos.)

The rink!

Painted dolphin on the 2nd floor looking down at the rink.

Quite possibly the world's silliest purse ever. It was normal on one side and had FAKE ASTROTURF GRASS on the other!! Huh Huh Huh LOL

We just spent a week hiking around Sitka and have seen everything from sea level to 2,500' Smiley Lots of photos to sort through now... working on the scrapbooks.

But here are a couple highlights from August -

and during our last hike Rose noticed that some of her wild cousins had also been using the trail that morning-

Went to Wisconsin to get some cheese!

I know this sign! Did you go to the Mars Cheese castle? (I grew up in Wisconsin, and we remember always driving past the cheese castle when we were going to Illinois. Except back then, it was more of a chalet than a castle.)

I gotta start on the scrapbook soon!  Things have been too busy at work-- yuck!

We did get to the zoo on Sunday though, so that's at least something fun!

I *don't* have awesome photos of the Grand Opening of our huge new library, or the VIP event with the mayor and president of the school, or anything like that, because I was running around like mad trying to work... but what I do have is a photo of Clyde helping me with a few finishing touches (even though the library is already open).

(These slots are under the self-check-out stations and people were returning books there... not ideal. So I labelled them... with Clyde's assistance.)
