Not doing much around here at the moment, some plan got cancelled at the last minute so it was a crafting weekend!  And some napping.

Next week is the photography class and the beginning of the Fringe Festival, so we'll be running around like mad!

Last week's theme was strangers.  Here is a sweet little cowboy we met at the rodeo while visiting my dad.

We saw what we could while we were there, and I have quite a few more pics to go through, but wanted to post this one real quickly.  This is an oak tree with a prickly pear cactus growing in it.  The only one I've ever found.

The Pin(trest) are mightier than the sword.

Oh, I love the little cowboy!

Here's a shot from the Korean Festival this weekend. We were able to stop by for just a little while!

That is an odd place for a cactus to be growing.  Another odd place I found cacti growing was in Michigan.  There was a little wild patch thriving near the curb.

great panorama whenindoubtsew and love the masks Mountains and Clouds

Scarlett came along to my 5k "Race for Life" to cheer me on - My friend (cut out the pic for privacy) and I raised 370 and still counting for Cancer Research, so feeling super good about that! But! It was 31 degrees (89 Fahrenheit) - which is a heat unheard of in England, and the run was TOUGH!  With a finishing time of 41mins, I ran for 6 minutes longer than my aim.. which is obviously great because I can beat my pb easy next time!! Wink

Scarlett told me she would have preferred if I had worn red - but it would have accentuated my inevitable sunburn later in the day!

Violet Anne and I spent part of the day at a pinhole camera class!  We have a few more hours tomorrow, and are currently going on faith that at this time of day (twilight) the exposure time will be 2-ish hours...  *wibbles*  I wanna go get it now, but it's only been 20 minutes.  Ah, well.

Here's a picture we took today!

Oops sorry, I've sort of dissapeared for a while there. I've had a bit of health issues combined with my work and I've been coming home and crashing into bed for a few weeks. We did do some crafting and we went to see an interesting exhibition in Genk. I'm going to put up some pictures after i've cleaned up the mess I've made of my stuff :p I'm to young to feel this busy :p Lucky thing I've got D'ood, he's been helping me relax by playing piano with me

So Love grabbed his camera bag this morning to take it with him since he's going to visit with some family after work and thought it might be nice to get some photos. Well, little did he realize that Anana was in the camera bag from our last outing. So he wound up taking him to work with him! LOL I told him since he took him, he needed to get some shots with the LV. Maybe the server room or something? Wink He said he'd try - so long as none of the other guys were around.

What? Doesn't everyone take anthropomorphic pineapple plushes to work with them? Grin
