Yesterday, Anana came with me to a family dinner for my sister's birthday on Clearwater Beach.

Oooo, I think I'll enter this for my something blue:

(I just got Instagram for this swap, and it's really fun.)

I got blue Converse and I'm in love with them. Bee enjoyed posing with them, and I think I'm going to make some for her Smiley.

Clyde came to work with me today (something he will do a lot, as I work 7 days a week... but only 6 during summer semester!)

That's the sign for our current building... but the new one opens in August, so Clyde gets to see that, too!

Ooo, cemeteries are so surreal. I helped record names on weathered headstones for my brother's Boy Scout troop a long time ago and it was too cool.

Just wanted to say that Bee has a blog now.

I've never run a blog before, so we'll see if I can stay committed to it or not.

Aussie arrived today! Yay! I created him a blog to collect all the photos at one place, you can find it here: http://aussie-in-bohemia.blogspot.cz/
Aussie brought his sleeping bag, a chocolat/marshmallow/peanuts bar (it's great Smiley) and a lip balm! Thanks once more Kylie Smiley

I showed him our copy of the oldest map of Bohemia. It's from 1518, was found in a nearby monastery and it's upside down! How I love old maps, they're so romantic Smiley

Then we spent some time reading Epic of Gilgamesh for my maturita exam.

The blogs are really nice. I haven't been to Clearwater beach in ages but it looks really nice. I am hoping to be able to participate in the next LV swap. I have already acquired my LV for it.

We were under the weather the last week (thank you frozen pizza food poisoning) but were recovered enough to do the show at the senior living facility on Sunday... Violet came along to cheer us on!

Franklin's first few days in Los Angeles have been quietly busy.  On Friday he came with me to my office job where I took pictures which I really thought I had transferred to my computer before deleting them from the camerabut apparently didnt, because theyre nowhere to be found.  Hell be back many more times, though, so lots of future photo ops there.

Saturday he helped me do some sewing at my monthly quilt guild meeting:

On Sunday he came with me to my local weekly Farmers Market where he had a chance to frolic among the produce, including this colorful cauliflower...

...and three kinds of carrots (yellow, orange, and, at the upper right, globe), as well as red beets and kohlrabi::

He also saw a most interesting fruit called Buddha's Hand

an ancestor to the lemons we know today.  They have an aMAZing aroma, and with no flesh or juice, just skin and pith, they have a relatively long shelf life, so I got a small one which I'm going to send back home to Franklin's people -- be on the lookout for it cinnamon teal!

Being made of a hard material rather than fabric and stuffing, Franklin isn't really pocketable, so I gave him a pouch I made that I can wear around my waist; this way he can be carried safely and also right at the ready for adventures:
