Can't wait to get started. I found great places to snag comic books for 50 cents - $1 that I could use for crafting.

Oh my goodness, Scott Snyder's Batman series (New 52) is stupidly good, you have to catch up with that. I don't typically read DC, none at all really, but this series is just that good. Really, anyone in this thread who likes Batman, this is THE current series.

I second this. Synder's Batman is aammaaazzziiiinnnngggg. I just discovered (this morning!) that he's going to be at a comic-con in Kansas City this weekend (which is a whole 4 hours from me). I'm trying to decide if I can REALLY make a last minute trip up there or not.

I just went to the comic store last weekend and ended up picking up two copies of Superman #18. When the guy asked me about it I told him I was going to use one for craft stuff and I couldn't bring myself to cut up one and then NOT keep a copy for myself later on.

Miss Martian: I feel so silly. Who knew a Martian could be vulnerable to a human virus?
Robin: Uh... H.G. Wells?

The fan girl inside of me is screaming like a 12 year old girl and jumping up and down. I sent my questionnaire in. Smiley

Just downloaded the first of Snyder's Batman and I'm really liking it so far. I'm so clueless about the character arcs though Tongue

For anyone who has a smarty technogy thing, I really recommend the Comixology app if you don't have it already. You can get just about any comic on there, and the scrolling style is super wicked.

Cool, I'm going to look for Scott Snyder's Batman today then! I have been eager to get into the new Batman stories so this will give me a good starting point. Thanks! Cheesy

Unfortunately, I won't be able to take pictures. My son broke our family camera during our outing today. The camera fell on the concrete and won't turn on or close. I'm fairly certain I won't be able to get a replacement until after this summer  Cry
