Wow, really nice work, love all the hooplas and those nesting dolls are incredible. It's so appropriate that your cat is stalking one, hehehe. And I love the tea cup makes me think "Waiter, there's a....bat...in my tea.". lol

That hoopla is awesome! Such detailed work. And the nesting dolls are so perfect - I love how as you go through each layer it tells a story.

Love, love, lo-o-o-ove the nesting dolls! The bat teacup makes me realize the potential for a whole Gorey set of china. Can't you just imagine! Oh, why couldn't E.G. have lived forever?

And Knicker, you can assure D. that the armour is real, not Photoshop. (You can tell whose mom is a graphic artist, can't you?) Wink We bought it for an opera last year, so I had to try it on before it went onstage.

My package arrived from the fabulous Wulf today.  Love love love!  I've always coveted something crafted by Wulf and now I'm thrice blessed!

First off, I received a beautiful brooch.  I so want a high collared lacey shirt and a long black skirt to properly show this off.  Oh.. and high heeled black ankle boots.  See what you started, Wulf?

Check out this gorgeous Doubtful Guest towel.  Doubtful Guest guest towel?  Wulf, I bow to your unbelievable embroidery skills!

A close up of the guest. It looks like a drawing instead of an embroidery.

And his host.

And now.. I present you... The Gashleycrumb Tinies bunting!

A is for Amy who fell down the stairs.
B is for Basil assaulted by bears.
C is for Clair who wasted away.
D is for Desmond thrown out of the sleigh.
E is for Ernest who choked on a peach.

F is for Fanny, sucked dry by a leech.
G is for George, smothered under a rug.
H is for Hector, done in by a thug.
I is for Ida who drowned in the lake.
J is for James who took lye, by mistake.

K is for Kate who was struck with an axe.
L is for Leo who swallowed some tacks.
M is for Maud who was swept out to sea.
N is for Nevil who died of ennui.
O is for Olive, run through with an awl.

P is for Prue, trampled flat in a brawl.
Q is for Quinton who sank in a mire.
R is for Rhoda, consumed by a fire.
S is for Susan who perished of fits.
T is for Titas who blew into bits.

U is for Una who slipped down a drain.
V is for Victor, squashed under a train.

W is for Winie, embedded in ice.
X is for Xerxes, devoured by mice.
Y is for Yoric whose head was bashed in.
Z is for Zilla who drank too much gin.

Here it is in all it's glory!

Wulf, I love everything.  Thank you so much for being my partner!
