Glad you liked everything CDEeeek!
I have to say it was deceptively difficult to draw all those cats for the tin......Gorey's style looks simple, but it's hard to get the character and personality into those little buggers. I was marginally successful, but it made me realize even more what a unique and wonderful artist he was. I miss him. (sniff)

Great cat house, and the ornament is really fun. You did a great job of capturing his style, cacks. Not too shabby. Cheesy

Cackle! They look great, and your comment totally sums this up for me. I love Gorey, I love the things I received, and I even loved the things I made. But I don't know if I would do another Gorey swap! It's so hard to capture his style, as simple as it sometimes appears! I think everythone so far has done an absolutely amazing job of it, and has been such an apt tribute, but whoosh was it tricky to get right. Smiley

LOVE those tea-towels you received, Wulf! Super funny. (And you have a yurt? Seriously? I guess it's not techincally swap envy, but I AM super jealous!)

I got my loverly package from CDEeeek today and here it is!
A super shadowbox, a tiny little matchbox, a hanky to wave (just like the PBS Mystery lady at the beginning Gorey intro) and an Edward Gorey bag.

The shadow box is full of detail including my favorite wee scene that is hand-drawn.

And here is a shot of the inside of the matchbox....

Thank you so much, CDEeeek, for a very thoughtful package....you outdid yourself!

My favorite is the matchbox! So much awesomeness in such a tiny space.

Very cool! I love tiny things, and I love to craft tiny things, but that would definitely have been a challenge to work inside the matchbox! So much amazing things in this swap! (Annnnd insert my swap anxiety here!)

He he he...team Edward (Gorey). I don't know anything about Twilight but that made me laugh. Loving everything people are making. Really like the cat necklace and tote!
