I wanted to try some Easter cupcakes even though Easter is kind of far away.  They are devil's food mini cupcakes made with a recipe from "Hello, Cupcake!" (instead of water use one cup buttermilk, and instead of the number of eggs the mix calls for, use 4 eggs).  I used a star tip to make the grass and the eggs are jelly beans.

It made 48 cupcakes, plus I had batter left over (also, I ran out of frosting and had 4 cupcakes left that couldn't be iced).  I kept some for me and my bf and I'm taking the rest to work.  The people at work are going to love me.

This was my first time using a star tip and they were really fun to make.

Super cute for Easter.  You star tip work is very grasslike.  If only we worked together so that I could sample them . . .

The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. . . . I would rather have cheese.
