I'll probably send tomorrow instead of today. I finally found the oval frame I needed to finish. I had my praxis today. :Fingers crossed: Hope things went well. I have Praxis 1 scheduled for next week.

Except, once my sister said that our uncle didn't give anyone real gifts because who drew pictures. That was a good indication that she would never receive anything handmade from me, EVER.

YES! Most people are gracious...although its not usually worth the work I put into it. So, if I make someone something I make something I really want to make...because spending time slaving over something I dont like when they are just going to say thanks and put it down is just not worth the emotional/time investment. Is that aweful?

And once I had a family member tell my husband "you dont have to get the kids anything special...just have your wife crochet them something"...*blink* She will get no yarn from my hook.

As in life, as in craft swaps, I do my best and most generous crafting for people I know will truly appreciate it.

I'm the same way.  And, since I cannot knit or crochet worth a flip, I truly appreciate those that can.  I would take yarn from your hook any time!

I never knew those ceramic mushroom items were in such demand, but blupaisan was right!  DH happened to be on e-bay when I was on the ipad and read to him her response to her package.  He checked the listing for the items, and let's just say if she ever wanted to put them up for sale on e-bay, she could treat herself to a nice dinner out!  Cheesy  (And to truly be honest, I think the two items together were like five dollars total!  Shocked)
