Last year was the first time I made Cascarones for my granddaughters.  They were a smashing success =) so this year the Easter Cascarones are back!

To make them different from the flower decorated cascarones of last year (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=432884.0, this year I decorated them with little animal faces embellishments.

These are some of the eggs that the Easter Bunny will bring to my family  Wink

Happy Easter Everyone!

What a fun Easter!

You just reminded me that I still have to paint my cascarones.

Now that I have finished mine, I can admire yours.
They have fun and cute faces. They are so cute that maybe your granddaughters will want to keep them instead of smashing them.
I wonder how you made the animals. Did you use a kit or draw them?

The animals faces are plain paper embellishments. I search (google images) for animals faces that matched the colors of the egg dye kit.  Smiley

I noticed how well they match the dye color, that's why i was wondering if it was a kit. You did a fantastic job.
By the way, if you have some tips for the cleaning part, I'll be glad to hear them. It's full of confetti around here!

I dont use confetti. Last year I used rice crispy cereal and this year I used bird seed, that way we only have to pick up the egg shells.

Great stuff; I particularly like the MLP:FiM Rainbow Dash & Pinkie Pie eggs!
