I have been in some geek swaps before and a graphic novel one but I wanted to see if there was any interest in a superhero/general comic characters swap? My big loves are X-Men, Batman, Runaways, and The Avengers, but I also dabble in a lot of others. It could be limited to superhero type comics or include less traditional comics like Sandman, Hellboy, The Unwritten, etc depending on what everyone wants. The swap wouldn't actually be for comic books but for comic inspired items (i.e. shirts, headbands, wall art, jewelry, inspired by favorite characters, etc.) I think it could be fun. I can organize if there is much interest. Smiley

I will definitely be in for this! I love the x-men (Kitty Pryde is my favourite comic book character ever), runaways, young avengers, and a whole lot of non-superhero characters, especially a lot of stuff from Image (Saga and The Manhattan Projects are two of the best series being written right now).

Yay, I'm so glad there are people who would join! Smiley  Kitty Pryde is one of my favorite characters too, part of the reason I loved Astonishing X-Men so much is that she was the central character. I like the idea of including other types of comics too since there are fans. The Unwritten is one I am reading right now actively that is just so awesome.

I will wait to see if we get some more interest and go ahead and start the swap. Would sign ups at the end of March through the first two or three weeks of April work for everyone?

If the times don't work for me I'll have to watch the gallery because this sounds like an awesome swap!

I'm an uber nerd that loves Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Divergent, Supernatural, and Marvelverse (to name a few.)

I posted up the swap and it's in the swap thread as Superhero and Comic Fans Swap. I started sign ups today but have a 3 week sign up period so hopefully that will be plenty of time to get a good amount of swappers. Smiley
