Hey everyone!

I made this crochet bullfrog for my two-year-old as a gift for the Spring equinox.  I had received a knit frog in a swap, & he fell in love with it, but as he is destructive, and I treasure my handmade gifts, I didn't really let him play with it.  So I decided to crochet him his own friend.

I originally made the back leg and foot as one long piece that got thinner at the knee and ankle, but I couldn't really fold the legs up too well, even with wire in it.  So, I decided to make the leg in three pieces.  I'm so glad I did because it looks much better!  Sorry I don't have before picks, but here he is all finished up.

If you'd like to make your own bullfrog, I posted a free pattern on my blog!

Thank you for the nice comments!  My son really loves him.  He is being quite rough with him, but he's stood up to the abuse so far.  He holds it from the back foot and swings it around violently!  He's obviously nowhere near ready for a real pet!  I sure do hope he learns to be less destructive!  I guess I have a wild child.  Smiley

Aloha ...

I just recently discovered Craftster and I'm loving it ...  but having some issues figuring out how it works. (Us old ladies can be kinda slow.) I'm in love with the wonderful Green Bull Frog, but I can't figure out how to get the pattern. Is there an online Craftster store where I can buy it? Have I missed a download link someplace? Please enlighten this N00B to the proper protocol!

Hello Kai Makani,
The poster notes that the pattern is available in her blog.  You will find her blog URL in her signature at the bottom of her post....
