I'm still in the thinking/stalking phase.  I also have to dig through my stash sometime this week and see if I need to go shopping (shucks!  Wink )

Checking in... Happy belated holidays!
Me and stefaniegk were busy updating our pinterests to help each other out a bit. Now it's off to dig around in my  for the right materials.

Annchen, I will most likely add some pins, and some needles as my partner wants some sort of needle book aspect worked into the design. I find sometimes some perfect pins really make the pincushion. Oh, and felting needles scare me too, after I poked my finger with one. Ack! I would only stick those in a felted pincushion.

I was thinking of combining fabric with crochet. I'm still working out the ideas floating around my head. :-)

I wish I had sawdust to fill my pincushions, as I like them fairly denser. I usually resort to sand and wool or polyfill.

Yay for summer!

Still thinking - unfortunately, I have to get a giant skirt done before I can start on this swap (we have a performance this weekend, and it took me an hour and a half just to sew a decorative stitch - yes, by machine - around the bottom edge).  Of course, I'd rather be working on this, because it's new and exciting!

I've already discarded several ideas... I'll know the perfect one when it hits me...

I know exactly what I want to do. Just don't know if I can get the right materials and still have enough time to make it. Plus, my students begin state-mandated testing next week, so I really need to help them get focused on "The TESTS". Doesn't leave much time for crafting. Boo!

adding weights to a wrist pincushion would not be a good idea... Cheesy

Too funny!!!!  Happy April fools day everyone!  Loving all the craby and paws!!!!!!

On the other hand (he-he)....it's a great workout. Pin cushion work out weights! Lose weight while sewing!

I havnt started yet but I think my partner and I decided on adding a few little extras, Im going to anyway not really worried about if she will, so thats one detail out of the way. Is it sad I know what Im going to do for the extras before I know what pincushion im making?

I am currently inactive, due to being hit by a car. I will be back on once I am healed
