This swap sounds pretty fun!  I skimmed through a lot of the galleries and some of the discussion boards and actually was thinking I could make microwave bowl holders, they are awesome and were a huge hit with my family this Christmas...and then I saw some people discussing them in a board awhile back.  So my question would be, did anyone make them already and if not, would one microwave bowl holder fit the requirements?  I'm not great at valuing things, I'm just thinking about how many I could make without going crazy and 9 would be doable. Also, do you make 9 things (I would definitely start ahead of time) but you may only get claimed for 6, or 3...or does everyone send out 9 things no matter what? I'm still a little confused about the 3, 6, and 9 and how those numbers work, I'm slow like that.
Thanks!

Oohhh, Watson!! Come play! You can make either 3, 6 or 9 things. You do not get claimed. But if you make 3 things you will get 3 things in return, if you make 9 things you will get 9 things. Everyone will post what they are going to make then you make a Wishlist of what you want and GatorWrangler will then post who gets what. You can make your items ahead of time or you have a couple of weeks to make them if you want to do customized ones. I think microwave bowls were offered before, but I'm sure they'd be a hit again!  You have to join, this is a super fun swap! It's my fave!

Thanks mama24boyz, that totally makes sense, ding ding ding.  I think I confused myself by trying to figure out the behind-the-curtains math on how different numbers would work (props to the organizer!), the day has been way too long for me to do math. I have a hard time doing minimums (like you!) so Im trying to brainstorm 9 things I would want to make Smiley. I'm so excited to see what you make, you have yet to make anything I didn't like

Watson, you don't need to brainstorm 9 different things to make. You can make 9 of the same thing, i.e., 9 hats in same or different colors. Or 3 hats and 6 necklaces. Or 3 whatchamacallits, 3 whatizits, and 3 thingamabobs.  Gator will list your items as groups from which the rest of us make wishlists. If you want to offer personalization (color, size, design, etc.), you do that one-on-one with the other participants after the swap lists are finalized. You can offer as few as 3 things or as many as 9, so long as your items are in groups divisible by 3.  That means you won't offer 2 sock monkeys, 2 necklaces, 4 hooplas, and 1 infinity scarf. Hope this helps with your planning.

Eager to see what you decide to offer. Smiley

I am considering jumping into the next round. I could offer these fabric block-printed key rings. The feather is my own design and they are stamped with oil-based ink. The back fabric varies depending on what I have in my stash.
