These are amazing! I'd never even have thought of making quilled jewellery. They are so pretty and bright and unusual Smiley

I have to share that quilled jewelry might be one of the most amazing things on Earth that *no one* thought to make.  The design possibilities are endless, the cost is ridiculously low, and the result is more than amazing.

May I ask what you use to seal these? I have a few paper earring ideas that I have been designing, but I'm unsure as to how to finish them.

I should also add that these are super amazing and would die if I saw them in person. A good death.

Haha.  I seal them first by hand painting them with nail polish.  I let it soak into the paper and harden.  It makes them really sturdy and protects them from water.  You can then spray seal them with an acrylic spray as well whick gives them a great finish and protects them from UV rays.  The combo works exceptionally well for me.

Funny, I was really hoping you used nail polish! Every crafter's secret.

Hope you don't mind that I linked your post to my craftalong...I know some of the paper artists were complaining on the durability of some of their own projects... Cheesy
