I love, love, love designing paper jewelry.  As each new season approaches, I get the itch and design a new collection of sorts.  Here are a few that I have come up with over the past couple of days.  I'd love to know what you all think.  I will get to debut them in person at an art festival I am participating in over Easter weekend, but I am excited to show them to you all now Smiley

Wow those are so pretty. And being made of paper I guess you can make them quite large without being too heavy. Lovely idea.  I hope the festival  goes well.

Gorgeous work!

Your designs and colors are wonderful, and your technique looks so professional. They are perfect for Easter.

Do you recommend using a sealant or clear coat for durability?

Good luck at the festival.

Yes, absolutely on the sealant.  I hand seal each with a thin coat that soaks in to the core of each piece making them water resistant and extremely durable. You can further protect them by spraying each side with a UV acrylic spray.  Doing both of these steps ensures jewelry that will last many years and provides a stunning finish.  I took the pictures above prior to finishing them off.  I usually wait until I have at least 25 pair before doing the finishing process because I seriously hate that part.

Thanks for the tip! I have not quilled before but you are inspiring me to try it.

I agree about finishing - the spraying is the worst part.
