I have a bathroom just like this one (the house down the street if for sale) and I need more storage.
We are very handy people and could redo the bathroom ourselves but I think we need to get custom cabinets to fit the shape of the room. I would like to have shelving/drawers in the middle part but think it might be a lot of wasted space. Also building a cabinet on top of the counter.

Any thoughts or suggestions about storage under the sink areas?

What about doing recessed cabinets in that wall on the left? They wouldn't be very deep, but you could make them pretty wide. This is an incredible set-up, by the way. I'm jealous. We just bought a house last Friday, and the bathroom is our least favorite part. The sink is pedestal style, so there are no cabinets or drawers or even a counter. The sink just barely, *barely* fits in the clearance of 32", so even when we replace it with a sink/counter/cabinet combo, it's going to be tiny.
