Hey all! My brother-in-law's birthday is in a couple weeks so I etched these pint glasses for him. He works as a logger and spends a lot of his free time hunting and fishing. I picked designs that match his interests, I wasn't exactly going for a PNW theme, but we live in Oregon and when I look at the glasses I just think "Pacific Northwest", so that's what I'm calling them, lol.

When the idea for these pint glasses came into my mind I was so excited! I'd never etched glass before so I was a bit nervous but I love trying new crafts/techniques. I used sticky backed vinyl, armour etch, and I cut the stencils out by hand with an x-acto knife. I loosely followed this tutorial: http://www.makeit-loveit.com/2010/06/glass-etching.html

Elk, Salmon, Tree, Deer:

Thanks for looking! Any advice/suggestions for future projects is welcome, I bought 2 dozen pint glasses because it was cheaper per cup that way, so I have a lot of cups to try different stuff on!

Well done and the designs are simple but effective. I especially like the evergreen. Smiley

Thanks! They haven't been used yet but I did wash them. Etching makes a permanent mark from what I understand, so I'm assuming it'll last forever?

They came out great, really professional looking!  Have you found a use for the rest of them yet?   Smiley

Thanks! The rest of the cups are still in a box under my bed but I'll finally be using a few of them for making Christmas gifts this year, super excited to try my hand at etching again! Smiley
