Would anyone be interested in a "Craft the Rainbow" swap? I was thinking we would craft 7 different items for our partner. Each item should have a main color or the rainbow - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. I was thinking it would be a 10-12 point swap in whichever combination you come up with.

What do you think? Would anyone be interested?

I absolutely love love quilts, do you think an afghan is a fair trade for a quilt? I'd love to swap!

Would less points be better?

I don't know, I like the idea.  It just sounds big when you read it, but a small/medium for each colour sounds good

I like the idea but it sounds like it would work out to be very expensive for me to mail.

I love the idea, but maybe make it a craft a tiny rainbow swap. That might be easier for everyone to handle.

Well you can always make it a choice. You can craft a set of 7 TINY things (like stitch markers or magnets or Book marks) OR you can make it a general rainbow swap with 3/5/7 points/items [--whatever] with the "Set Of--" idea as an option for partners to decide on.

Either way, if sign ups are toward the end of April I might be in for a round Smiley My sister-in-law LOVES rainbows to death and could use a pick me up after birthing her fourth child into the world Grin It's her favorite "color". Yes, "rainbow" is a color in her world  Cheesy

I love rainbows and I'd maybe be interested, but I'd definitely leave out indigo as its own color. I'd also probably want to do a much smaller swap 'cause I get overwhelmed easily and 12 points would be crazy expensive to ship. I'll be keeping an eye on this either way.

YES! I love the rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple). What if it was a swap with 2-3 items but each item had to use all the colors of the rainbow or 4 smalls, a medium, and a large something along those lines. I have some awesome rainbow fabric, anyone want a laptop case...
