I've been trying to learn how to sew for forever and would like to just take a class now. Can anyone recommend a good place near the Olympia/Lacey/Tacoma area that isn't too expensive? I live in Lacey but willing to travel. Thanks!

Did you ever find one? ReFabulous is on the west side, they have classes. So does JoAnns, and I think the Pfaff place by Fred Meyer.

I've been searching for one near Tukwila for a while now. All are way too expensive. There are plenty of websites that offer free video tutorials as well as Youtube... That's what I've resorted to...

What do you want to sew? ReFabulous is on the Westside of Olympia, they offer clothing classes. For quilting, there is Bayview quilting downtown. Also, Canvas Works downtown offers all kinds of classes. They carry fabric and have a bunch of machines upstairs.
