I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

For some reason or another, I thought it was a fantastic idea to make a quilt out of DH's t-shirts that I had been secretly removing from circulation and squirreling away in the closet. What else was I going to do with them, right? Well, I've never quilted before and had to go at this project with a pair of scissors and a school ruler. This was very time consuming. I also didn't consider the weight of this thing so I had to sit on the floor to sew it. However, I am satisfied with the way it turned out. Seeing the images on the quilt are memorable to me in one way or another and maybe in 18 more years I'll have another stash of shirts that just need to be a quilt.  Wink

All done!

Sweet! My question is how does he feel about you cutting up his shirts? For never having done this before it looks pretty awesome. I'm jealous. Wink

It's a funny story. As I'd wash clothes, I would occasionally stash one and he'd never miss it. This went on for years and when I decided to do something with this cache of shirts he suddenly remembered he had them.
DH: "I've been looking for that shirt."
Me: "It's been in the closet for 10 years."
DH: "Hey, I can still wear that one!"
Me: "I can see you through it."
Now we can actually get some use out of them and I can fill that empty space in the closet with more yarn. Win-win.

Thanks for the comments everyone!
