Wahooooo!  Little Kate asked for a bag with some requests.

Close-ups of some of her requests:
'K' for Kate

'Red' is name of her tomato plant

She wanted a tree, a heart, and a button rainbow.

I notice that I tend to be too neat and have to constantly remind myself to be wonky.  It's a battle between my left and right brains.  My stitches are looking funky but my squares are all perfectly lined up.  I find that I'm making a few at the end that fit exactly rather than making it crooked.  My next one is underway so we shall see if I can get it right in the crooked wonky way that is so appealing, eh?

The sweet thing is that Kate carried this bag with her everywhere over the course of 48 hours.  It was worth every time the needle went into my finger.  I'm now using a thimble for sewing through the thick areas!!!

It's perfect!

And I also struggle with the straight and wonky. But I just love this.

Loving all these Teesha Moore projects. All the buttons are great but I love that tree.

Thanks Lady4Feet!  The tree trunk is actually just acrylic paint which I then embroidered around and then sewed on button leaves.  Piece of cake that anyone can do!

On another note, love the ferret photo!  We have a friend that worked on the endangered black footed ferret project in Wyoming.
