So I went through my stash of keys and my stash of junk jewelry and made some pins. Still have a lot more to make! Most of the keys were ordinary old housekeys, or big clunky car keys-they'd been in the lost and found at work for several months and were going to be thrown away. So, I felt free to experiment. I still need to put pin backs on them, hitting the craft store after work tomorrow.

Obligatory group shot

I'm not crazy about the big one on the far left, with the red/gold fabric top and gold beads. Or the orange one in the middle, but I was determined to try and use the clunky odd orange earring!

Too cute!  I am loving the orange one!  I also really like the two butterflies!  These would look fantastic in a  glass covered shadow box for wall art!!!!

Aw, thanks! I might have a dealer's table for geeky stuff at a small scifi con next month, and this will be part of it. Along with circuit board jewelry and some rayguns. I still have a big stash of keys to make more of these-it's fun!

I of course love the 2 with the hearts because they remind me of Sailor Moon.  Grin  and I love the mermaid ones because I love mermaids.  Cheesy

I think they're wonderful.  You could also string them and make necklaces out of them.  Not sure if they would work as earrings, but you could give it a try.

They're all so different... can't pick a favorite & I kind of want to imagine them all made into a mobile of sorts with them dangling down at different levels & turning with a gentle breeze.  Smiley
