Okay-I am attemping a sock.  Im doing a toe to cuff one.  So, Ive finished the toe, done with the foot section, now Im at the heel part.  All that the instructions say for the heel is:
short row heel(to 6 sts left not wrapped in the middle)
So......what do I do?

You need Silver's Sock Classes! Scroll down to see the multiple sock-making methods. They're all for a mitred short row heel, but you can choose between methodology for DPNs, one circ or two circs. This is how I learned to make socks, although I now use a no-wrap variant of the mitred short row heel.
