This is a little 4" by 4" mixed media piece that I also sent to LeapFeetFirst in the IYP22.  I adore rusty bits and random junk...

I tried to restrain myself but managed to include whatever that rusty thing is on the right topped with a bottle cap (picked up in a parking lot in the Las Vegas desert), vintage red buttons, a little bundle of the coolest black matchsticks (from the Firefly restaurant in Las Vegas), a smaller rust treated canvas topped with bits of resin paper/stamp/Russian text/rusty tin that is pinned on with an old button thing for the bottom of a chair leg.  All the text is from my coveted 1910 school speller that has the most hilariously weird sentence examples.  I hope LeapFeetFirst likes rusty crap as much as I do Grin

Just love the rusty stuff you used!  Such an interesting mix of things...the base color is a nice back drop for all the goodies!
