These turned out beautifully! I love the technique you used and can imagine it working for all kinds of projects. Your stamping, inking, splattering, glittering, painting process worked perfectly Smiley.

I really like those - there is a stained glass quality to them.  I may have to give it a go myself.  Thanks for sharing!

Those look so good, thank you for sharing how you did it, as it looks like fun to try and without your excellent instructions I would have had no idea where to start.

I haven't seen this kind of technique before (I don't work in paper) but I love the results.

I love working with text and rarely sew....but being able to make your own collage "fabric" with all the text and colours is pretty fun.  Check out PurpleHeather's tutorial, she uses all kinds of stuff in making her paper cloth its very nifty Smiley

These are beautiful!

I have been experimenting with making fabric paper, but have been afraid to gum up my sewing machine by sewing through the glue and various textures (paint, glitter, gel mediums etc). Did you have any concerns or problems sewing through this?

Admittedly I am a little rough with my machines (I'll try sewing through almost anything Roll Eyes ) I had no problems at all.  I made sure to use a new needle and a medium wide zig zag stitch-even with a cloth base I was still kind of freaked that close stitching would make a tear. The needle does make a permanent hole in the "fabric" so crazy quilting is perfect for my shoddy "I meant to do that" sewing skills Cheesy  The paper I made was fairly flat with mostly paint and ink embellishment though so I'm not sure how it would go with glitter and thicker embellishments.
