So I'm posting something un-plushed here for a change!  Tongue

For the Walking Dead swap, my partner has 5 kids and apparently they all love zombies so I figured I'd make her a board game. ..I didn't know at the time there is actually an official Walking Dead game (I'm a bad fan, I know!). But this one is much easier to play. Wink It's like Trivial pursuit...without the trivia.

Initially I was going to buy a trivial pursuit game and upcycle it to fit my needs, but then I remembered seeing teag's great Harry Potter game where the box was the board.

And I decided to go that way instead.

The aim of the game is to get around the board and visit each spot - the hospital, the farm, the CDC and the police station to collect supplies in the form of a supply card. I would have liked to have made little polymer clay pieces to collect, but this was a last minute idea and I didn't really have time to make 28 little supply pieces.

Once you have all four supplies (food, ammo, medical supplies & vital information (We're all infected!)) you need to get back to the safety of the prison to win.

The game CAN be single player, you just set a baseline score of how many rolls of the dice it takes to collect everything and get to the prison, and then for subsequent plays you try and beat that score. ...but it's always more fun to try and beat other people. Wink

The player's pieces are polymer clay chibis; Daryl (complete with zombie ear necklace and winged vest), Glenn, Andrea, Michonne, The Governor, Carl and Rick.

It was actually really hard to let this one go, and even for a rush job I think it turned out pretty good. Making the Governor, with his one eye, was the most fun I had that day. Wink

I agree with previous post, this doesn't look anything like a rush job, it looks awesome! I've never seen The Walking Dead, but seeing this game and the Harry Potter board game that was posted here has inspired me. I need to make some fandom-games lol. Even without seeing the show, I still think that this game was a cool idea

That is SO cool.  Shocked
I really must make my own game one time. I would LOVE To have a game to play for the whole of our family (there is 5 of us, 2 adults and 3 kids.)
It would more than likely have to be Harry Potter.  Grin
