Here's my Catching Fire manicure.

Started with a white base and then layered gold, orange, to red in a gradient.  Then got some red and gold glitters and drew over that in fire-y streaks.  Over top of that I put a bunch of nail stamp images I thought went along with the series.

Love and a kiss, Enobaria's teeth, nightlock berries, dandelion seeds, roses, music note, tracker jacker, fire, and weapons.

Here's a fun snowflake one for January.  I love it.  Very delicate and pretty.

Used a cream colored base and then a shimmery purple and blotted it over the tip and up one side like a triangle.  Then blotted white shimmer over the edge of the purple to fade the line out.  Used a few nailstamps that looked like snowflakes over.  Dotted some purple glitter into the negative space and covered with top coat.  -- It actually sounds like a lot more work than it was.

My own nails are always so long, and over the top design wise.  My philosophy.... the longer the better, the more room for art. Lol
So this was my first go with the stiletto shape.  Thought I would hate it, but no, I loved them!  I tried my hand at encasing pieces of lace inside of the acrylic.  It worked brilliantly.  Then, I added a 3D rose and glitter... because a girl can never have too much glitter.   Grin

Eep, love it! I just happen to have a matte on my nails right now! I really want to do the one with matte black with glossy black dots. So chic!
