ooh cool! These are the ones I have! I definitely want to get some that have the french manicure type patterns!

FYI, at Dollar Tree I found Sinful Colors Nail Art polishes (the ones with the skinny striping brushes!). I didn't have anything like that, just a nail pen in blue, so I got green, pink, and turquoise.

hehe, yep.  I love the dollar store stripers.  I've got all the colors they've had for two years LOL.  Dollar trees have also been getting little tiny bottles of nail art glitter I've been buying all up too!  Gotta love dollar stores.

Hey there! I have to share my latest wild nail colors with y'all!

The colors I used:
Sally Hansen Extreme Wear 360 'mellow yellow'
Sally Hansen Extreme Wear 90 'sun kissed'
Sally Hansen Extreme Wear 23 'fuchsia power'
Sally Hansen insta-dri 420 'lively lilac'
Sally Hansen insta-dri 28 'mint sprint'
Sally Hansen Extreme Wear 02 'green with envy'
Sally Hansen Extreme Wear 130 'blew me away'

Just brush on 2 colors on each side of nail & then put the color they'd make in the middle. Coat with a clear top coat while still wet & wiggle the brush as you apply to blend the edges a little.

I'm loving it!

my wedding anniversary is this week so I put some hearts on the nails Smiley

(Revlon's Iced Mauve and the gold hearts & glitter is Revlon's Hearts of Gold FX)

and since I thought that was a little too distracting to have at work, I toned it down to a French manicure with hearts on the ring finger

(tips are Wet & Wild Spoiled in Pearly White Teeth, the nails are Rimmel's French Rose. The hearts are from the Revlon's Hearts of Gold FX again)

They both look great! I like the hearts! Someone sent me some chunky glitter pieces but I haven't gotten around to using them yet!

I finally had fun with polish!  I have shellac from CND, since I was an esthetician in a former life.  The top of the nail is Ashphalt, the bottom is Romantique.  I painted and cured the light pink first, not pulling the polish all the way to the tips.  Then carefully polished only the ends, being careful to make the rounded look.  I guess this would be considered reverse French.  I like it!

Of course you could do this with regular polish to, but you'd have to let the bottom color dry mostly before painting the ends.

Oh, and excuse my rough looking hand. I've been having bad allergic reactions to everything and that's why they look that way.
Also, is the picture distorted for anyone else?

I like the reverse french look!

Doesn't look distorted on my end & don't worry, your hands look fine...if you hadn't mentioned it, I wouldn't have even detected your allergic reactions.  Wink
