I have quite a few goodies to show off!!

First, from La Chapa, for my Spring is Coming theme...
One of my alltime favorite things to discover in a tree!

It is made with pastels, my fave medium to work with, so I really appreciate that. Sooo pretty and so Spring Hopeful. Thank you, La Chapa!

Next, for the same theme... from Cmarion3, "Bird Tracks."

She says the flower is 'pounded', something I have never heard of before and will have to try. I love pounding!  It would feel weird, tho, to pound such a tender and pretty thing. I love the muti-media in this. Thank you, Cmarion3!
I have such a funny bird story that I witnessed this morning. I happened to look out the window just in time to see one of our 'regular' wood ducks, back for nesting, trying to go into its hole in the tree from last year, only to find it had been taken over by wintering squirrels!  It flew off in confusion and despair, poor thing, but it sure made me laugh!

Third card, from michelleandbean, on my Vines theme.. A real stunner!!

Oh how I adore the colors here... looks like magic marker. These bright tones make my heart light. Thanks so much, michelleandbean, it's awesome.

Finally, on my Bird on a Wire theme, it is titled Nonconformist and done by Helcura, with cut-out papers. So funny and pretty.

Is there so much red on this bird cuz all the blood is rushing to her head?  Ha ha.
Thank you, Helcura. Nice touch!!

Yes, you take a flower or sprig of leaves. Then cover with fabric or paper and pound away. The color is transfered to the fabric. There is special fabric for this, but I've used plain, washed muslin and it works. The colors tend to age if you do not treat them, but very cool and a great way to get out your fustration...see this link for more info or Google "pounding flowers".

Thank you...I'm glad the theme fit reality for once.
