I'm sorry, I'm the one holding things up here. Despite being mailed weeks ago, my prayer flag for Antidigger is taking its sweet time to travel across the pond!

Stalking your swap and thoroughly enjoying all the beautiful prayer flags.  You are all amazing artists.  Ot's inspirational just to be able to look through the gallery.

The bloom flag is beautiful.  I love the texture of the flowers and how they are placed on such a geometric background.

Your fretting is perfectly timed, and I guess it's me holding stuff up: I got home yesterday (my few days away turned into a few more) and guess what was in the post waiting for me Smiley

It is most wonderful and very very welcome. I've placed it in my new garden already and it looks perfect.
It has an amazing hand-painted hand-dyed recycled top-sheet with the raindrops on. It has a beautiful scrabble tile word and the stitching is gorgeous. I can feel the calm that comes with the rain already and those big fat summer raindrops that feel so gorgeous.

It may be working already, I distinctly felt a couple of raindrops when I was putting it out....

A close up of the wonderful letters and raindrops

And here it is in it's new home.

I still have a flag coming in from PerfBoho.  The Hub checked the mail today, but no luck yet.

Thanks for all the kind words about my believe impossible things flag.  And to answer some questions, I use Steam a Seam Lite iron on glue to keep things from fraying.  I make little squares in the sizes I need and iron them to the back of the fabric.  Then I just cut the letters out and iron them down.  The stitching is all machine.  I call it scribble stitching, as I just sort of scribble around.  I haven't decided if scribble stitching is quilting or embroidery though Grin

I'm starting to worry about the two packages I mailed to Canada recently. I hope yours gets in very soon! My luck with the mail system seems to be failing lately, so I am keeping my fingers crossed.

The scribble stitching is wonderful! I think I would call it quilting if it where on a fluffier base... but I wouldn't really call it embroidery.... Whatever it is, it is so much fun!

Yes, one more, I was mistaken earlier.

SonjaBoo, the rain flag is beautiful, and so perfect in a garden! I like the pompom detail along the bottom. Really pretty fabrics too!
