I agree -- a box is overrated! Great flag!

And speaking of great flags, I received from Antidigger a few days ago and have been slow in my photo posting. (I am SO sorry!) I am totally in love with this flag though, and there are so many wonderful elements in it! It is perfect for my gardening theme!

Bloom!

And the reverse:

There are all sorts of fabrics, salvaged bits, sections of stitching and embroidery and beads... It's just lovely! Thank you so much Antidigger!

The sunflower/bloom flag from Antidigger if fabulous!  I love that giant sunflower!  It's a wonderful quote on the back too; that was a nice way to finish the flag.

Wdicwg, your universe flag is beautiful!  The fabric really, really looks like the night sky, and it is so pretty!  (I think the thing to do is remove the "e" too; "one with the universe" will make sense.)

I received from FoxyBlue today!!! It's a flag featuring my favourite colours blue and red!!!

The theme is perspective and I believe the eye is made out of a fabric yo-yo and button. It's wonderful, thank you FoxyBlue Cheesy Cheesy

Sooo many lovely flags! I would really love to add the "Travel", "Be one with the universe" and "Bloom" flags to my own collection Cheesy

In other news, I have received two fantastic flags. One from susanab, and the other from suereal.

First up from susanab, this lovely "Peace" flag has two sides! And I can't decide which to keep facing forward, because I am really loving the soft felt birdies on one side, but the letters have some awesome fabric on the other side (I adore the peacock fabric). There is also a sweet little "kindness" charm on top, which maybe is where I was supposed to hang it, but I didn't want to hide it, so I sewed on some ribbon loops instead.

Next up is my flag from suereal, which combines at least three of my themes: an Alice in Wonderland quote (slightly shortened), bumble bees!, and Doctor Who (fezzes are cool... and bowties Wink ). There is so much detail in this flag, and I'm also quite impressed at her signature on the backside. Also, the bee's wings are made out of something cool and shiny....

And now, all of my flags from R2 and R3 happily hanging together! Grin

Okay I finally have a *second* to breathe here.

I received an amazing flag from Ramona Q. It has 'Peony Prosperity' on it. I love peonies more than words can say and her handmade ones are soooo beautiful. Thank you SOOOOO MUCH!!

Also, I had taken another pic of the one I did for her. It's hard to photograph because it's shiny, but I think it shows a little more detail Smiley

Ok--we had our birds and now we have our flowers! Cheesy

Adore the sunflower one--all those pretty knots and the background is simply a gorgeous blend of colors...

Foxyblue--the yo-yo eye is fabulous!  You know I am stealing that idea for some future project! Wink

susanab--your flags are always so interesting and special...I love both sides...but I think the PEACE is my favorite

The peonies are simply gorgeous...I also love the trims along the side

Seeing how you display your flags, PB, makes me want a lot more to add to my own collection AND it shows off the variety of styles and sentiments of the Prayer Flag makers!

Fabulous gallery once again!

The Bloom flag from Antidigger is wonderful! It's like a mini art quilt it's so detailed! Love the little shovel!

Perspective is a great word for a flag, and wonderfully executed by FoxyBlue!

The Peace flag by susanab is awesome. I love the unconventional hanging and the double-sided-ness rocks.

The "Believe Impossible Things" flag by suereal could not be cooler. I love the crazy stitching. Is that all done by machine? How did you maintain the integrity of your edges? Just wild wow!

Ah! Your flags look so great all together, PerfectlyBohemian! I LOVE your display!!!

Wow, the peonies by Ramona Q look so real! Just gorgeous.
