The spiral of beads and the star fringe is awesome for the Dumbledore quote. I also love that feather on the "Let her sleep" flag. Can we get a close up shot of the details?

Wdicwg, it's so neat that you received both flags on the same day!

bbeeroad, I love the quote you used, and the feather is really well done!

Deathbeforedishes, your color scheme is beautiful!  I love the embroidery and the use of tulle, too!

oh the flag gallery exploded!

surreal--what a creative flag...I bet all those bells tinkling in the wind will carry the prayers to where ever they are needed!

abbeeroad...such lovely backgrounds on both the flags you did!  Such personal details...love the spiral and the feather..and the star fringe is a really cute idea as well!

deathbeforedishes--the tulle adds a nice airy feeling to the hummingbird theme!

I am so glad it arrived safe! The purple hummingbird beads are handmade. It was my first try at polymer clay.

I am happy that you like it!!

Pioneer9 received from me today!  Yay!

She asked me to post a picture of the flag that I sent to her.

I used her word 'Create'.

suereal - LOVE your take on the prayer flag. All those ribbons and so much color. Totally awesome!

deathbeforedishes, both your flags are great, but I love the create flag. I feel like that's exactly how my craft space looks when I'm trying to channel creativity! Perfectly captured!

I took a pic of the feather flag before I sent, but I'm not sure if I captured the details any better...I posted it here in the HP Craftalong, if anyone is still curious. It is based on this image from wdicwg's pinterest. Thanks for the kind words! Smiley

Can't wait to see some more flags!!

wonderfulnesses in the gallery have happened since i was last here!!

silentblair's "compassion" is awesome. like alwaysinmyroom i have an ailing parent--my dad--and i also think this is a tender flag. i love the colors, too--and the metal butterflies. those are a FIND! they're like silhouettes against those great embellishments.

abbeeroad!! the beading is awesome. and then the star fringe  Shocked  i love the colors streaming on the fabric like that. you really crafted a beauty (i have to go back and read between your posting and mine to see if you revealed if you bought or dyed the fabric...either way--i just really love it.

i love the leaf flag just as much. you've got so much style and you create with so much care.

sureal's flag is as unreal as she is!! you are so out of the box. for a DAY i'd like to live in your head. that's just amazing--what a piece of art. i love that ramona q is taking it outside--nature is going to kiss that flag. it's crazyawesome.

and deathbeforedishes--TULLE!!! screaming i am. that is lavender lovely! i see that and i SEE SPRING!
woohoo!!
BRAVA!

The "CREATE" flag really hits home for me! ha ha it has a lot of the elements I use to inspire and get me going...nicely done, deathbeforedishes!  Is the little yarn ball one of your creations? Cheesy

Wow everyone! The flags in this gallery are AMAZING!!! SO much talent!

Leslie - how cool that we are on the same 'bird page' Smiley I'm glad you like yours!

I will be receiving my mail tonight (I was away for a week and my neighbour was  collecting it for me!) and I will let you know what I find in there! Something tells me that I will have a special surprise in there!
