I can't believe I almost missed surreal's flag!  I might have been too stunned...after all, it has Dr. Who and a bee and cool words and cool textures and... LOVE IT!

Wow, so many new flags to see here!  I love them all!

Ramona Q, your "outside the box" flag for suereal is totally cool!  I love that you wove the fabric yourself!  And your peony flag is gorgeous, the flowers really pop!

FoxyBlue, your "perspective" flag is awesome!  Using a fabric yo-yo for the eye is genius!

Susanab--a two sided flag??!!  I wish I'd thought of that!  I love the big letters spelling out "peace", and the fabrics you made them from.

Suereal--your "believe..." flag blows me away!  The fabric letters are amazing--tell me how you did that--did you cut them free-hand?  They look fantastic, and the bee is so cool too.

Love the 'believe in impossible things' flag. What wonderful colours! PerfectlyBohemian your flags look awesome together.

Ramona Q--need a little more details on how you did it!

I made the out side of the box flag with rug hooking canvas. The long strands were done using traditional rug hocking method. The top flat part I just wove wool though the grid. Here's a close up shot

The peonies are dead simple to make. You just melt polyester fabric!!! Seriously so much fun to do and they have so many uses. Here's the blog with a tutorial:http://creaturecomfortsblog.com/home/2012/4/3/diy-fabric-peony-flower-accessories-gift-toppers.html

I love the flag made of handmade fabric and the steampunk style charms give it an extra touch.
The sunflower on the bloom flag looks great I love the effect from using different fabrics for the petals and the texture from the beads for the seeds.
I love the two sides of the peace flag with the little patchwork birds and the unique method for hanging.
The imaginative believe impossible things flag is amazing I love how the combination of things and how the illustration at the top seems perfect for the sentiment.

I received a beautiful flag from annigirl22 -- she also chose my bloom theme! I love it! Check out the big puffy flowers -- they're so fun!

Thank you so much -- this was a great swap!  Grin

What pretty flowers on the "bloom" flag, annigirl!  And the lettering is cool--did you do that by hand?  Nice work!

I think we are just waiting for one more flag to reach it's recipient.

I still have a flag coming in from PerfBoho.  The Hub checked the mail today, but no luck yet.

Thanks for all the kind words about my believe impossible things flag.  And to answer some questions, I use Steam a Seam Lite iron on glue to keep things from fraying.  I make little squares in the sizes I need and iron them to the back of the fabric.  Then I just cut the letters out and iron them down.  The stitching is all machine.  I call it scribble stitching, as I just sort of scribble around.  I haven't decided if scribble stitching is quilting or embroidery though Grin

To all past swap partners....If something I made you fell apart in some way, it would be helpful to me if you PMed me and told me about it.  Sometimes, I try new things, and if they fail, it helps me to know

Loving all the flowers this round!  Very pretty texture, amigirl!

Only one flag left? Oh, no!  Time for another round or maybe a personal swap or so...like with everyone!

Love them all!

Lovely Bloom flag!

Sad the gallery is almost done!

Thanks for the info, suereal! I'll have to look for iron-on glue! Love the effects of your scribble technique!
