First knit scarf

After first knitting my first project, a washclothoth I wanted to tackle something bigger. I knitted this k3p3 scarf in maroon and black. I started it at the end of November, and finished it today, so it's taken me well over three months to finish. I did move countries in between and also had a shoulder inflammation temporarily stopping me from knitting.

Since Monday brought along the first warm and sunny days of 2013, it will probably go unused until october-november, but I'm really happy to have it off the needles and all finished! This really was a major undertaking, I think my next project is going to be something quick and easy and less monotonous. I have learnt a lot from this project, color changes, fixing dropped stitches, and also how to do straight and twisted knit and purl (but since I started with twisted purls and only realised 40cm in, it's straight knits, twisted purls)



The scarf is 157cm (~5'2") long and 20cm (~8inches) wide.
