I've been seeing some very nifty crafted clocks lately, and I love functional crafts, and I have zero clocks in my name. Would anyone else be interested in a crafted clock swap? Any ideas on guidelines for the swap other than the obvious "make a clock"?

Here are some fun and inspiring clocks I have seen lately: http://pinterest.com/jlrigdon/clocks/

I'm be up for this.  I've never made a clock before.  It might be fun to learn something new.

The size thing is something I wasn't sure about. I think it would definitely be more fair to match people up by sizes they want if a specific size wasn't part of the swap guideline.

I personally would be open to either type of clock, although I was specifically thinking of a wall clock. I didn't even consider a tabletop option because I hardly ever see those Tongue

This sounds fun. I saw some really cheap wall clocks at Ikea for under $5. You really just need the clock parts. I got a clock from an Anime/manga swap and my partner got it from a thrift store. I absolutely love it because it plays Christmas tunes every hour, but every hour for this clock is 10 minutes to.

Oh, I like the idea of altering a thrifted or cheaper store-bought clock. I was thinking of those kits I always see at the craft stores that are just the hands and battery packs you attach to something.

Partners could make whatever clock they would like.  Altered, kit, original idea.  I'm over the moon for cucko cucko clocks.   Grin

I think this would be awesome. There are all many spots in our house that we refer to as, "the land that time forgot" just because you have no concept of time while you're there...
