Almost done. The monster turned out 2/3 the way I planed it. Hope it is cute though.

checking in... I have next week off from work ... so all my crafting should be done by the end of that week, hopefully.  But that also means, less internet access.  My laptop at home is on the fritz

I had one of my worst crafting failures in a long time.  I literally had to rip my monsters face off.  It's a good thing that one of Glamis's words was scary, or I might not have had the heart.  Basically the substrate would not hold the BLANK I had hot glued on.  So I had to rip off anything that was hot glued, then cover the substrate with BLANK.  I also tried to use a new BLANK, that swore it would not BLANK...but it did.  So I went back to my old BLANK and fixed the icky parts with that.  I will know tomorrow if my doctoring efforts worked or not.  I may have to start all over, but I have a great deal of faith the new way will work....also thinking of other monsterish ideas again, just incase...

After my last swap I promised my kids their own sock monkeys.  I am so anxious to start this swap!  I had what I hope is a really cool idea yesterday.
