Great contest idea.

I'm teaching a sewing activity at my 9 year-old cousin's Girl Scout troop next week and am in the middle of writing a tutorial for them, so they can follow along with our project or read ahead to see how it works beforehand.  Is anyone interested in the kid-friendly version, or is the adult version that I'm writing for my blog more appropriate?  Or both? They're fairly similar; the kid's version has more pictures, and all of the sewing terms/ideas are written out in non-sewing terms.

Honestly, either would be fine, I think. You know how Craftsters love pictures though!  Wink Cheesy

Question - does the tutorial have to posted directly on Craftster, or can it be prepped elsewhere, and a link posted?  I have one almost ready, but it is on my blog, and I don't know how to transfer it in the whole to here - and it took a long time already.

Oxyxnox, you could probably directly copy/paste the text and would just need to redo the photos (ie re setup the link/hosting etc) I think.

Someone else might know better, but I would guess that that would work.

Yep, definitely has to be posted on Craftster.

I think kj has the right idea, too!  Just copy and paste.  Depending on your photo host, you might be able to just insert the photos directly here.  If they don't allow that, you could just upload them to us.

With blogger/blogspot I do it backwards, make my Craftster post and then copy and paste into my blog. It copies the pictures and the code and everything, super easy. Not sure how it does the code since it's going from bbcode to html, but it works! I copy it from the published view on Craftster, doesn't work if you hit "modify" and then try to copy the code.
