Okay, small change in plans. I got the medium project done this afternoon instead of the large yet. But it was timed better to watch Doctor Who and Peter Davison's first full ep.   Shocked Although it feels like I'm crossing the streams...watching Doctor Who while crafting Star Trek. I made it right by watching a Wil Wheaton You Tube video while working on my small project though.   Grin

I don't think there's anything wrong with watching Doctor Who while Trekking, especially if you watch the one where Tennat does the Ta'al (Vulcan 'Live Long and Prosper' hand sign). It's pretty much the best of both worlds.

I'm thinking I'm going to need a visit from our good doctors. I'm losing my voice and I've got a nose that won't stop running. On the plus side I've finally gotten a sketch of the original Kirk I actually like. I must have sketched him twenty times by now. There's just something about his eyes I can't ever seem to capture.

Also,(This will be a TOS spoiler!!!)  I was watching 'The Trouble with Tribbles' again with my sister yesterday, and at the point where McCoy says "Almost 50% of their metabolism is geared towards reproduction." My sister commented 'So, they're like Tiger Woods."

I died laughing.

"There's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo, and it's worth fighting for."

"I still believe in heroes."

Hey Wizards_Pupil, I like the way your sister thinks! She sounds like my kind of people! Smiley

You aren't the only one! I would want McCoy too. He's the best Doctor Ever!! xD

I honestly think the main reason I love TOS: Voyage Home is because of McCoy.

McCoy: Dialysis? What is this, the Dark Ages?

McCoy: Radical chemotherapy? Unbelievable! Sounds like the *blep!* Spanish Inquisition to me!

Miss Martian: I feel so silly. Who knew a Martian could be vulnerable to a human virus?
Robin: Uh... H.G. Wells?

Agreed McCoy definitely is a favorite.

But, in crafting news, I am back home from vacation and am pumped to finish my last few items. I tried to get everything mostly done before leaving just in case. But, almost finished, just a few details.

Hey! I love Doctor Who! I have a huge crush on David Tennant.. hehehe And xD I always loved McCoy, especially in that Movie! xD "What are we? In the Medevil times?" xD And matter of seconds, he cursed the lady's kidney! The doctors are baffled xD.

You know, if The Doctor ran across Spock and others.. It would so be hiliarious to see this! xD How they interacts.

Happily crafting away on my big item, got a few ideas kicking around for the second.  If I had to choose a doctor to be treated by, I think I'd prefer Dr. Crusher.  She seems to have the best bedside manner, as long as you don't annoy her.

Things around here have gotten way off schedule...
But, I think if I bust it this week I can be back on track with everything.

I just need to bow down to whoever and plead for sanity and organization skills.

We just hit our allergy season with both barrels.
Anybody have experience with adenoid removal/insertion of ear tubes surgery in a anxious 6 year old?

My crafting have slowed down especially since my Dad is sick. Mainly, I have been worried. He hasn't been able to breathe and always coughing.... He saw the pulmonary doctor and the Doctor wants to do a CAT Scan.. To see if he has a tumor in his lungs...or something. So I kinda have been terrified for the past week now. I'll try to get some more done soon

Sending some good thoughts your way Rika!

I hear you how worry can really slow down the crafty juices.

Sometimes the crafting can give your brain a brain because your focusing only on that. Papercutting crafting does that for me. It's my meditation.

Crafting news:
The new thing I tried...or was going to try....didn't quite work out. I think the _____ I was going to use was the problem.
Luckily, the first step didn't affect the _____ so I could try a more familiar technique.

I'm curious if there's going to be a Trek Team for the Summer Nerd Games pinkleo is starting....
