I'm on my reading week and I decided that since I wasn't working today, I was going to spend it making things (but not homework like I was supposed to be working on  Tongue )

I made this this evening.  I used 2 25yd rolls of 6" tulle in light pink and dark pink, some black jersey, and pink voile for the lining.

This took me close to 4 hours to complete, I started making it with my ruffler foot, but got fed up with it and just hand ruffle the strips as I sewed it.

The final skirt is 6 layers (voile, tulle - alternating colours; and jersey over skirt)
It's fluffy and fun.

here's some more photos from my progress.
