Hi guys!
Haven't posted in awhile so I thought I'd share my newest commissioned girl, Elaine.

She was a bit of a diva when I was making her. She demanded I throw away the first head I made for her and start again.
Thankfully, she's quite pleased with her appearance now.

Elaine is about 24 inches tall.
She's jointed in the shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees. Her fingers are wired.
Her face was painted with acrylics and sealed with a matte varnish.
She was made from my own pattern that I refer to as the "Muse."

I love making these ladies, but everytime I finish one, I remember why I only make one every few months...they wear me out!  Cheesy

Fantastic! She reminds me of Minnie Driver.

So cute - and I love the pose with legs to the side.  And I agree - your faces give them so much personality!!

Aw, thanks, you guys!
I've always loved painting and drawing faces. I think that's why I love making dolls...I only had to draw/design the body once! Lol  Grin
