Pinks, I love your socks! I adore argyle patterns!

Here's what I've got so far on my embroidery:

It's not much but I keep having to stop because my fingers hurt.
Here's the template I drew up so you can see what it will look like:

OK, round-up time!

@Noodle-bug: love the mug rug!  Those knots must have taken FOREVER.  And the blankie is even more beautiful now Smiley  Also loved the pincushion and the teapot planter. Great recycling!

@Pinkleo: you are a crochet machine!  I can't believe how speedy you are!  And fingers crossed for you for your biopsy!  I have a thyroid one probably coming up in a month.

@Pottermouth: that is one sneaky little bowtruckle, how did you cram him under the bell jar?  All they do is point and laugh at me!  And the little elephant purse  Cheesy

@Eiseldora: The robe looks good!  It's a nice cool summer one with short sleeves eh?  And so jealous you're already gardening.  It's snowing here right now, I kid you not.

@Audania: those aprons are just adorable, and I love the use of toile.  Very chic!

@Fiberalchemist: grats on the OWL, and all the other great stuff!  I so want to make the trash bag except maybe turn it into a toddler organizer instead so we always have snacks, wipes and diapers in the jeep

@Abeeroad: EHRMAGERD ZELDA!!!  Want!!!

@Patty_o: To echo Barney from HIMYM "CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!"  You blew me away with your fantabulous cakes (and hello awesome Star Trek-ness) so I must try it sometime!

@Jennie: As always I covet your stitch markers.  COVET.

Phew, I think I'm at least caught up to the last time I was able to post something decently!  I have some books to donate but I can't get out to do it tonight, so I'll still donate them just after Accio Books! is done.

EDIT: @FreakieGeekie what a snazzy hoopla!

::smells so yummy in here with my GF choco-chip cookies baking....mmmmm...I felt the need for some gooey cookies and milk:::

@noodle-bug: A patronus is never simple...it is a piece of you, and everyone is a wondrous mixture of amazing thoughts, feelings, and all things you have and will live.  I think you have captured that perfectly with your butterfly patronus.  (I feel the same about butterflies.  In fact, I get a tattoo of one symbolizing a change or transition in my life.  I have 5, though I do have a bit of a backlog to get...going to wait until my bday...but I digress)  Take your time to grow and change...whatever it is, good or bad, you can & will be stronger! ((HUGS))  Crafty note: LOVE all the french knot work...just gorgeous!

@FreakieGeekie: love the design, and your satin work looks so nice!

:: Twelve warm, deep tones of a grandfather clock chime in the night. The light of the waning moon falls across polished floor boards to a large fabric pile of many colors.  The only other light is from several large candelabra and the fireplace where an old cast iron kettle softly steams.  A house elf pokes her head around the door, glimpses the imposing fabric pile and scurries away unseen by the woman in the room.  A small dog-like creature notices the elf and seems to consider chasing after her, then sighing heavily snuggles further into her bedding. Her forked tail thumps twice as she closes her eyes.
The woman approaches the pile. She moves slowly so as not to startle the fabric. She has made that mistake before and spent the better part of an evening wrangling her squares from the many hiding spots around her room. Using the influence of the gibbous moon she concentrates on banishing the negative energy surrounding her O.W.L. project. Far too much thought has been spent on not getting anything accomplished and Advanced Studies Friday waits for no one::

Harry witnessed Professor McGonagall walking right past Peeves who was determinedly loosening a crystal chandelier and could have sworn he heard her tell the poltergeist out of the corner of her mouth 'It unscrews the other way.

I hope it's okay to start straight away with an owl. I have been watching this thread for a while now and it looks like a lot of fun Smiley

~*OWL PROPOSAL HEADER*~

OWL Subject & Option(if available): Arithmancy
House: Gryffindor
Project Name: 7 Felt stories
Brief Description: The number 7 is often related to wisdom and power. Perhaps the most powerful way to learn is through play. I plan on making 7 felt stories to be used at a local early learning center. These stories will be based off of well known rhymes, songs and tales. I expect it take to about 4 weeks (hopefully, as I have never used felt before).

@dwfan10: ~*OWL Approved*~  It is always a great time to dive into your Advanced Studies! Grin  I love your OWL plan.  Sending blessings of luck!

Random felt cutting tip: Iron on freezer paper to your felt (wax side down), it makes clean cutting easier.  Plus, you can trace your shapes onto the paper side.  (I have tried & approve this method. Cool)
