I'll try to give some feedback before throwing in my NEWT (that you all saw in the AHPC gallery Smiley )

Jen, I love how delicately you can paint. Those flowers are beautiful.

Pottermouth- I LOVE the mug-rug! It really looks squished under the mug! Made me giggle Cheesy And the candy dress is perfect- Does it ties in the back or has an elastic neckline?

Pinks- the shawls are pretty, I love the strippes in them. And congrats once again, mod!! Cheesy

Eisel- don't be so hard on yourself. I had a very hard time figuring how to crochet at first (but desesperly wanted to learn to make wig cap for my dolls) and with practice I finally was able to make things. did you follow a pattern for your lemon?

Ant- yay for frogs!! I love the rug, and the tea wallet. I have a thing for tea wallet (my bf finds them unuseful, meh!) I don't fit it wonky at all! and the granny looks very cozy.

August- Both pair of slippers are awesome. I'd want the common room slipper for me (in gold and red, of course Wink )

NEWT Subject: History of Magic: Students must produce evidence that they did not sleep through all of Prof. Binns lectures.
House: Gryffindor!!!
Project Name: Ronald Weasley mini Waldorf doll
Brief Description: By making this I show that I really did listen to Proff. Binn's class about the Great War of Hogwarts. Each accessories was carefully specifically designed for the doll, handmade by me using various technique: handstitching, crocheting, needlefelting and knitting. The doll itself was made according to the Waldorf pedagogy of dollmaking. It is made of organic cotton and filled with uncarded wool. The face was carefully shapped with strings before getting covered by the fabric. He even has a little nose. The eyes are embroidered with cotton floss and his hairs were inserted one by one by looping strands of yarn into a crocheted wig cap made on mesure. He is fully undressable.

Along I sent two sweaters - W and Gryffindor quidditch- a Molly-style quilt and a house scarf that are knitted.
The leather Quidditch helmet, school robes and uniform, broom, wand and little shoes, pillow are handstitched, while the pants are corcheted and Pigweadgon is needlefelt. There's also a tiny book- I bet it's about Quidditch!

I took me all the 5 weeks allowed for NEWT, mainly because I did other things while making him and his little things Smiley
We all love him and sent him with a little pinch. Ron is not my favorite character so it helped!

My daughter loves him dearly, but she's used to have to let go on dolls. She asked me to whom it was going, and I told her it was for our friend that made the tree stump. She said " OH! I LOVE our stump!!" and was happy Ron was going to Abbee. She was also thrilled to see action shots (me too!!!!):

Thanks abbee for the wonderfull awesome swap! Cheesy
