Hi everyone, I hope this topic is in the right place.

I'm thinking of making a Japanese futon-inspired type of bed that I can roll up during the day. I'm looking for suggestions on what to put inside these mats. I was thinking of getting a thin memory foam mattress pad and using that plus some cotton stuffing but I'm really not sure. I am a college student so something somewhat affordable would be nice, but I still want it to be comfy!

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
