Hey guys, I'm looking to recover this cool rocking chair I bought off Craigslist.
I, however, am unsure how to reupholster these ruffle-like padded bumps. I'm sure I can wing it, but is there a specific way I can do it without screwing it up and wasting too much time?
Any ideas would help. Thanks.  Smiley

What a great find! Love the shape of it and it looks super comfy.

This should actually not be too bad. First take off the back, and most of the front fabric should come off fairly easily. It is more or less tucked into the rolls of padding/styrofoam. Once all the fabric is off the chair you can get a rough estimate on needed fabric amounts.

As you go I would note anything unusual that you find so you can recall it when recovering. Staple locations, etc. The last thing you will do it reattach the back with fabric covering.

If you want super easy you should cover over what is there and just staple over existing fabrics.
