San Francisco meets sex and the city bedroom

I love the feel of sex and the city or gossip girl (literary, fashion, the city) and want it to reflect in my bedroom since I'm going to redecorate. Only difference instead of the empire state building I want a piece of art of the golden gate! Any tips, suggestions, inspiration ideas for me? I want to incorporate Bart somehow as well as the haight and Castro without it looking cheesy!

What about making big prints of the Bart Line/Map. You can get big prints at Kinkos/Fed Ex store. Same with pictures of the Golden Gate Bridge. You can also piece them together by printing them on tissue paper and then putting them on canvas (Craftster did a video for and there are tutorials around)

For some reason I think whites and glass. Maybe mosaic a glass night stand?
